Help! Engine Managment Light

just had my turbo back exhasut fitted today, havent had a problem till just i drove around cearfulyl for abit and then put my foot down in 2nd gear and when it got to 3krpm heard a loud bang and then just went into limp mode and wont boost passed 7psi and the engine managment lights is on the dash bored.

any 1 know what this could be want to get it sorted before saturday as got awsome rolling road day and really want to go

hose popped off somewhere? check all the intercooler hoses, the turbos-charge pipe hose, the tip even

as u just had the exhaust fitted check all the studsare holding the downpipe onto the turbo

couldent see last nigth will have a look this morning. bolts looks like they were still atached to turbo though.

could it be to do with lamba sensors if 1 of them has fallen off?

that would cause problems with power (and a light on the dash) but wouldnt make a loud pop

same happened to me and it was my maf!

found somet else now when you put you foot down it jerks forward before it start to go like is a misfire.

checked all the hose's seem all attached. is it possiable 1 of the pipe may have burst, i did notice after i had exhaust fitted it was boosting alot higher than id did before was at like 20psi

thats what revo should be hitting, i hit 21/22psi quite regularly

it could be maf (it could be anything) with maf atleast u can unplug it and see if it makes any difference. but again this wouldnt go bang.

and now you mentioned misfire...possible a coilpack is on its way out

if theres nothing visible then like i said u could unplug the maf and give it a try or u really need vagcom

ill try unplug the maf and also do a reset unplug the battery and leave it off for abit think that will do anytime.

if not ill have a trip to awsome 2moro and see if any there will plug it in for me.

just really gutted spend money on modding car adn soemt else breaks

thats why investing in vagcom is very sensible when you have a laptop, atleast when something goes wrong you can diagnose the problem your self and it can be alot cheaper at times when the work required is something you could have done yourself

yea well when i get a laptop think its somet ill invest in for sure.

not had any major problem with my car since this though so cant really complain

if i was to unplug the battery to see if that will reset it all. does the standard sterio unit have a code to input, as i done have 1 if they do.

had it on vag come today came up with this

16621 manifold pressure / boost sensor G31 signal to low
P0237-35-00--

if that means anything few people said could be a sensor but no idea which it is

any 1 any ideas?
