Hi, hoping somebody can confirm that the screen I have attached is the correct one to adjust the egr valve. I went to the engine section selected adaptions and selected channel 3.

The engine is a TDI 130

Firstly

click on Engine,
Then Log In, enter the number 12233.
Next Click "Adaption"
select channel 3 ERG should be displayed.
Then alter the second digit of the number to 3 replacing the number 2,
Click test, blip the throttle to reset the system, them click test.

You should see the duty of the valve reduce, then click save.
A warning will come up click "ok or Do it" this will save the new number :)

You can then exit and go back in and make sure its stored the new number ok.

And then test go drive, the exhaust should be cleaner and the amount of gunk in the inlet will be reduced! which is good!

If I can find a Garage with VAG-com what settings do I use for a 09 Plate Golf TDI GT with 140BHP CR engine please ? also if this mod is done does the ECU record the fact that the EGR has been turned down and therefore could it invalidate a VW Warranty ?
