Help choosing a color for Cupra

Hi everyone,

I'm new here and am about to jump in the Seat boat by placing an order for a new Cupra 290, this week. My only problem is choosing a color. I know it's a subjective matter but i find it really difficult making up my mind because of the rather monochrome available palette (exceptions - red emocion and that electric blue). I'd also be making most of my trips throughout the city, therefore an urban friendly choice is important.
Thing is this week the manufacturer begins production for MY 2017 and one change was getting rid of the color packs - at least in my country, Romania - so basically I can't go with my highly desired ice silver (estrella silver) and black pack combo.
Leaving the black pack behind, I'm no longer as set on the silver option as much as I used to be and thus I'm considering nevada white/monsoon grey/black.
Unfortunately I've only seen these schemes in pictures and none in real life so I was limited by the quality of the display. If you owners could come up with reviews and help me make a choice I'd be so grateful!:help:

Thanks a bunch!

If black pack won't be available (still waiting for an answer via email) I'll most likely go with monsoon(pirineos) grey. Reason is nevada white looks too dull and black color restricts the body lines even more.

How about getting the silver option and wrapping the individual parts to recreate the 'black pack' ...

First off, I wanted red. But then I saw a dirty one and it didn't wear it well.

Had loads of black cars, fancied something different. Subsequently saw a black one on the street and the grey plastic panel at the back really stuck out. Pleased I avoided black.

Ordered a Monsoon Grey, but had this nagging doubt I should have gone for the bright turquoise blue. The day I picked mine up it was parked next to the turquoise and I knew I had made the right choice - the blue is nice, but it is just too lairy IMO.

Had they done a British racing green one, I'd probably have gone for that. But they don't, so I didn't.

Was either Dynamic grey or silver for me. Went with a silver st with pan roof and black pack. Absolutely delighted with the colour. Swirl free colour , easy to keep clean ! Had a black and dark grey car before, lovely when new but absolutely wrecked my head when you could see so many swirls .

Thanks so much for your answers. I believe the final showdown will be silver vs dark grey.
It's really a difficult decision since this car will stay around a good while.
Dark Grey picking up grazes&scratches easily?

-Grrr, wish I could send video links with these 2 colors walkaround and upload a couple of images but I need more posts

My monsoon still looks pristine....use autoglym Aqua wax on it after every wash which is quick and easy.

As someone had suggested you can do a diy black pack yourself.... For a lot less than Seat were charging.

Painting wheels £200 for four, plasti dip letters £10, rear window fins about £75.

That's all the black pack has that the standard cupra doesn't.

Today I had a talk with the dealer and told me he spoke directly to the manufacturer and it's OK to select the black pack option. I'm torn between monsoon and ice silver (Estrella). Tomorrow I'll be paying the upfront and still haven't decided. It's killing me.

Print a picture of both of them with the black pack and keep looking at them throughout the day and you should know which one catches your attention more

I've got monsoon grey and still love it. Gives a real deep shine when cleaned and it doesn't show dirt that bad either compared to lighter colours. Same with scratches etc they don't show up as much as previous colours I've had. Go for it!

Hi

I am looking at buying a used seat leon Cupra, I have seen a 2002 cupra , 40,000 miles but it is in a silver with rubbish alloys and looks bog standard, it will require changing the bumpers etc but has very low mileage...

I have seen another one with cupra r bumpers etc, but 81,000 miles on the clock, i want to remap and maybe do a few things like exhaust, front mount etc,

is 81,000 too high mileage to be tuning?

Please help

Thanks
