Hello, my LCR is playing up. I've had it for 3 days now and done approx 300miles in it with no probs. Last night I parked in the driveway (which is not level) and just an hour ago whe I went to drive it out the 'brake/handbrake' warning light came on flashing and beeping. The light stayed on during a short journey that I had (just 2 miles). I didn't notice any loss on the drive way and could not check the level as the position of the resevoir makes it hard to see te level. I have looked in the resevoir and saw that there is fluid but without a guide I would not know where the level should be by just looking down the hole.
I am now wondering if there is a problem with the sensor? I have now taken the sensor off but the missus is taking the car to Grantham tonight and did not want her to crash etc etc

Your quick help would be much...much....much appreciated!

I've checked the 'search' tab &....

I've had a look and it seems that a few people have the same problem. Difference wit me is that the car had its brakes done 1month ago, I've had the acr 3 days and driven at low and high speeds and the brakes have been fine.
Now, I wonder if this happened because I parked my car on the driveway which is not level? but then again surely after 10mins driving the warning light should stop?

Can anyone tell me where the fluid level should be looking down the tube after you've taken the yellow cap off??

....Before 8 please as when the missus goes off (so I might have to call the insurance cmpany to check I'm up to date!!:p )

sure

I'm positive it's down. Thelight flashes and beeps even whe it's on and car is stll. I've just managed to have a look in the dark a(using a torch) and can see that the level is on the MIN line.
The missus will take it Halfords for a quick top up 2morrow
