Need some help, i bought a mini moto bike and the tank leaked whilst it was in the boot. A tin of vanish, a tin of car plan upolstery cleaner, and i tin a fabreeze and it still stinks of a petrol station! Is it possible to remove the boot mat? or shall i just buy a new one?! Anyone recommend any good cleaner to get rid of the smell?

thanks

I havnt tried to remove the boot mat but I would have thought it would be fixed under the rear seat bases. I would take it out if you can and put it somewhere until the petrol has evaporated. Unfortunately I think some residual substances would remain so a new one may be the best option.
