Today driving home from work power went down dramatically, when i got home i found one of the sensors that make up the N249 had broken.

It had dropped down the back of the engine and onto the turbo, slightly melting the wire and plug and melting the plastic part of the sensor :(

I have the N249 bypassed which leaves the exact same sensor useless. I swapped the melted one for the un-melted one, plugged it all together and still got hardly any boost.

I plugged it into my computer and got the following errors :(

Code:
VAG-COM Version: Release 409.1-US

Control Module Part Number: 6K0 906 032
  Component and/or Version: 1.8L R4/20VT SEA 0002
           Software Coding: 11500
            Work Shop Code: WSC 78901

        P1640 - 35-00 - -
17833 - EVAP Purge Valve (N80): Short to Ground

16486 - Mass Air Flow Sensor (G70): Signal too Low
        P0102 - 35-00 - -

I'm supposed to be taking the car with me tomorrow for the touring cars, at this rate i wont be able to make it in the SEAT :(

Any help appreciated, can i completely bypass the N249 removing all of the sensors without the need for resistors?

Any fast help appreciated, thanks.

you need to repair your damaged wiring... although you may well have damaged your ECU if you have run current into the 'wrong' connections

Plug for sensor, you can just see where the insulation has melted to bare wire

Here is what left of the melted sensor..
