Hello to all , new to owing a seat leon and joined for advice

Looks like I have joined a great site as I have already read loads of helpful posts, I have a list of questions and hope someone can help to point me in the right direction

Seat leon cupra 2002 1.8 20vt , experiencing lots of whistling from the engine . When I accelerate hard I get hesitant acceleration sometimes but once it's going its fine. Also when I start from cold I get a loud hiss after a minute or two then the engine quietens down and idles normally

I would say it sounds like you have a turbo boost hose with a split in it or a bad joint clamp.

Thanks for the advice, I shall get checking the hoses tomorrow and let you know how I get on
