Just a quick hello, and a vehicle background.
I'm 41 and had enough of working on my own car in the cold, rain and tight spaces smashing my hands, but I still like to know what is going on.
I've rebuilt a Peugeot Engine with some mods so know my stuff, but never touched a diesel engine, as I have very little knowledge on it.
Had a G Reg Petrol 1.6 Astra (POS)
Had a G Reg Petrol 1.6 Astra (POS)
Has a K Reg Petrol 1.6 Turbo (saxo vts engine) Peugeot 205 (Great car for when I was single and spent way too much on it)
Had a P Reg Petrol 2.0 Subaru Legacy (Great car, built like a tank, but very expensive to run)
Had a R Reg Diesel 1.9 Audi A4 Quattro (Loved it, took it up to 300,000 miles and retired at 21 years old)
Current 2008 Seat Altea Freetrack 2.0 TDI (Best car I've had to date)
