first thing i would be checking is the cambelt.has it been changed and when?

It will be going for Oil+filter and cambelt as soon as possible do that with all my cars

Maybe it's just be being a miserable old git but I find "no dents whatsoever" rather hard to believe. Have none of the former owners ever used a car park? Mine seems to acquire more dents every time I park it anywhere...

no way a mk2 cant have any dents, its shapely doors and lack of rubbing strips dont so it any favours

hello and welcome car looks nice and clean and neat and tidy as well hope you enjoy it. yea check service histroy for cam belt and other things like that as it would be nasty if it failed, just to be on safe side mate

I tell you what if i ever regretted selling a car it was the 8v so hopefully this will put the spark back look to have sorted some mk3 cupra 5 spokes so thats the first mod thanks matt20cupra on here
