Right I tried and try to do the ebay link and failed, im thick, so I copyed the add. Will the below work with my 2008 57 plate Seat Leon, its an Fr and has the steering wheel controls and it is the version that doesnt need that moduel which can cause battery drain...

will it be plug and play? and will my Aux ( which is down next to my hand brake still work as I use that a lot for my IPOD and phone music...) ?

Any advice would be great as im not That tech savi with Hifi stuff...............I was looking @ RCD510's but the UK ones ( I don't want a Chinese one ) are outside of my price bracket.......

Thank you...

Get the RNS510 mate, the vw unit is plug n play. You'll just need to cut a bit oc plastic trim out.

I would imagine, however that the rcd unit wil be plug n play.

If you read the retrofitting mfd2/mfd3 oem sat nav thread in the faq section that will give you a better idea mate

I can't afford the RNS510 + I have sat-nav anyway I just wanted to update the stereo a little and for the price the RCD310 looks a good piece of kit..

I've only got the bottom MFD it sit below the fuel and temp gauge, I was hoping it was plug and play, im just a little worried out the steering wheel and aux functions as I use both of those a lot...
