Heated Wing Mirrors

Hi All,

Silly question time again!

I have a 56 Plate, Altea Reference Sport, with Manual mirrors, does anyone know if these should be heated? I assumed they would be, and they do have a single black line running down them, a third of the way in from the right (drivers side). However reading post elsewhere it suggests that they may not be.

Are they heated? If so, should they just turn on with the heated rear screen button, or do I need to do anything else?

Thanks for your help!

The line running down the drivers mirror is actually the gap between two mirrors with different curavature.

the bit neares to you is a normal wing mirror curve but the bit furthest away is curved more side to side than up and down and is mean't to give you a wider field of vision in a normal sized mirror. If you look closely (while your parked up) you'll see that everything in the outer bit is much skinnier than in the main part.

My Ref. Sport manual mirrors are not heated. When I bought mine the manual mirrors were not heated and the electric ones were. I don't expect that that changed in the year between my car and yours.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply, that puts my mind at rest. Don't mind not having them, just would have been annoyed if I had them and they weren't working.

Cheers
