Heated Washer Jets

Has anyone retro-fitted the Heated washer jets?

Are they worth it?

With winter coming I am thinking it could be a good project

I'm thinking of buying a new FR too with the Heated washer jets.

I drive a long way to work in the mornings and have had several occasions with my current car (a Focus 2.0 Zetec ESP) where half way to work I try to put the washers on and get nothing.

Assuming they work, I think to see where your going is priceless!

why not consider using a decent screenwash and mixture that won't freeze anyway

Renault's on perfumated one is so high in alcohol content i have yet to freeze a washer jet in 10+years and it dries like vapour on a hot screen too and smells good

it is pink though :S

I always assumed it was the frost over the jet nozzle and not the screen wash that freezes.
