Heat Shield

Now I know there are a few people here that run open cone filters without issue however my engine gets really hot. I suspect its due what I suspect is a front bumper/airflow issue.

With that said the airbox and cold air feed from the front of the car can get bloody warm.
I'm moving to a jetex open cone filter when they delivery the bloody thing! I'm looking for a heat shield and as I'm total Sh@ at DIY i'm wondering if anyone knows anything about this subject that could help me.

hi i can help you mines a 18 turbo tho there have a look

i made it my self out of a small sheet of ally and used little L brackits to put it togever,

Sorry for the late reply, I've just got back from a 600 mile south wales tour.
I'm liking your design, Where did you get that section of silicon hosing from the MAF to the Filter?
