Hey guys..I've searched and can't find what I'm looking for.

Recently had a P Flo fitted..and Revo stage 2 :) Loveeeee it lol..

Only thing noted was no heat shield on the induction kit.. Is there one out there for this filter? Are they easy enough to make etc?

I know other filters (Revo etc) come with them..but I don't wanna change the P Flo, just get a heat shield on it :) So..suggestions welcome :)

The one they sell is ****, expensive and will crack and start rattling after a few months.

I made one out of a piece of 3.5 mm aluminium (ebay, £5) using the original as a template. I can give you the dimensions if you want.

Hello mate

I've just bought a black Leon cupra (57 plate) this week

Totally standard so far..... I have however ordered a Neuspeed P-flow and eibach springs (which came today) from awesome gti..... And I'm getting a 3" turbo back from exhaust uk next week.

I can't believe how easy it is to extract power from these cars

Does the P-flo filter make a nice noise?

Also are your wheel done dark anthracite? I'm getting mine refurbed this coming week..... Not sure weather or not to go gloss black or dark anthracite.

Yours is sounding like a nice project by the way.

Hello mate.. Yeah P Flo sounds amazing (quiet compared to some others I believe!) but..with my 3'' downpipe & decat, centre box removed and the P Flo.. I love it!! :)

My wheels are 'tungsten' done at a place in the North East called Romax. They are amazing. Powder coated.. Superb finish! :)

Id also like a heat shield like a piece of metal to direct the inlet flow of air straight to the filter and yes the p-flo makes a nice noise

Have you got any side on pics of your car?

I'm after some inspiration lol.

Another question I've got to ask- would you say your cupra's stupidly loud with the 3" de-cat?

I'm going for a full 3" turbo back with silenced mid pipe.... Probably gonna get the down pipe heat wrapped as well.

Really like your car as well, I think mk2 cupra's look great in black

I'll post up another close up pic lol..
No it's not stupidly loud..essentially mine is a straight through exhaust to OEM backbox. Loud, nuts on boost.. Sounds almost standard just cruising round :)

It's inferi black.. Black with a red pearl in it (standard colour) looks purple in some lights :) it's a gorgeous colour IMO

That's it mate. It's secured using the two rear engine cover mounts. I'll try and get a few pics tomorrow, but it's quite hidden by the intake pipe and the modified engine cover lol

Here's a pic of mine. The heat shield is from BHS and was from America, cost £50 and took nearly a month to arrive. Its been on the car nearly 3 years now.

Ahhh Richi yours is the heat shield that goes under the black pipe above the turbo..sorry buddy.. I meant I'm after one that protects the induction kit, directing cold air at it so it doesn't get heat soak (like Gregs!)
Sorry buddy lol.. But thank u! :)

That would be the one to have as you get a lot of heat from the manifold/turbo area.

I have that exact kit and heat shield sat in a box at home lol.
