I dont like to use them really, but i think the little covers on the bumper under the headlights looks better than if you dont have washers

In theory it would be possible to retro-fit headlamp washers, but for starters you'd need:
1) New bumper with flaps in
2) Washer arms & mounting brackets
3) All the pipework
4) Larger washer bottle

I never found mine to be that effective really, good for soaking cyclists/pedestrians/unsuspecting friends etc but regular use really emptied my washer bottle quickly.

I have headlight washers and they stick up also. There really is no point going to all that hassel to retrofit these silly little things on. Except for auto dimming rear view mirror, the luxury pack 2 is not worth it.

I had not thought about getting these smelly cyclists - but you are right, using them does empty the washer bottle quickly. I only discovered that my B5 Passat's pump had gone when my washer bottle stopped emptying quickly - but I changed the pump and it empties quite quickly again - useful in winter when in heavy traffic - and essential when HIDs are fitted.

Mine were sticking out, dealers greased them, didnt work, they replaced them, that worked for a while, then at the service they greased them again, now they're sticking again! Back they go....!

Wow old post pulled from 6 feet under!

Having problems with my washers, went in to Miller & Middleton (Colchester) 2 weeks ago the reckoned they adjusted them for the second time but no difference so they are ordering in new washers so will soon see if that makes any difference.
