Hi folks,
I noticed today both headlights and indicator corners have misted up.

I've searched the forum and a member suggests silicone gel packs as a fix.... we have loads at work so will give that a shot..
last month both headlights blew a week apart, brand spankers on them now and the plastic backs are correctly fitted.

the car is still under warranty, but is it really worth going to a dealer?

(yes another water problem  )

I would imagine the dealer will probably tell you that its condensation and a result of the cold weather due to the light units not being sealed units. Turn your lights on for a little while and see if it clears, if so then I wouldn't worry about it. If its full blown puddles in the bottoms of the lights then thats a different story.

I know thats the case on BM's anyway. My Leons lights mist up too.

mine have also misted up but i have the xenon conversion fitted so i have the wires and the gromit going through the back of the light panels this shouldnt cause a problem as they arnt sealed lights anyway so not sure why they are still misting. not misting alot though sometimes not at all has only just started in this cold weather recently.

but hey id defiantly take it back if under warranty ... some nice new headlights maybe? lol
