headlight bulb blown.....??

hey all
I thought i had blown my drivers side bulb on my cupra over the weekend, turns out the bulb is fine, same with the fuses and relays. what else poss could it be? there not standard bulbs they are 100w ice blue bulbs. any ideas what else could of gone wrong?

Its not the wattage of the bulbs, i ran 100w bulbs in my cupra for 2 years. Really needed to describe what the problem was in the first post tho as "i thought my bulb was broke but its not" isnt explaining anything to us readers. Id be checkin all the connections

Are you sure the bulb is blown?
I recently blew the DS headlight and when I took it out it looked fine, but was fecked.
If not, I'd test the connections inside the bulb holder and make sure current is getting there in case its oxidisation on the contacts.
If you've fried the wires then the insulation should show damage or be deformed.

Bulbs are fine, i tried 3 different ones and none work, i did have a look at the wiring and it looked ok, not deformed mayb ill have to check to see if theres any power going to the connecter, as myki said, could poss be bad connection.

Now the other side has gone!!:cry: i checked all the wiring, nothing was broke or badly connected but there was no power going to the connecter.:blink: i i hate wiring problems!
