Headlight and grille question

Right im sticking standard headlights back on the beeza, found a couple on ebay which will fit. Was wondering do any of the polo head lights fit straight on? if so which year?
Another thing, as i have the quads im gonna have to get a whole new grille, any idea where from...also want the debadged bit to go in the middle. As soon as this all arrives ill be getting rid of my seat quads in the sig so if anyone wants em get your pms in befor i ebay them.

IIRC, only post '96 Ibiza/Cordoba headlights will fit I'm afraid.

Polo ones are a different 'shape' and have different mounting positions.

Your best bet I reckon is to find someone with a Copper Mk2 with std headlights that wants to do a swap!

Actually, PM me with an offer and I'll see if the GF wants to swap hers off her Ibiza, the only thing is it's Green!

I've got a "copper" grill in my parents garage if I remember. It's from a facelift (CupraDaves old motor before he got LCR bumper/grill) so will fit yours and doesn't need respraying.

I'm at my parents on Saturday, can check then if you fancy

Bit confusing as the last one says 94-99....and the first one is from an N reg?

There are definite differnces between the 93-96 (prefacelift) and the 96-99 (post facelift) lights, as Smithy will testify !!

The 1st ones you've listed are N-reg, so will not fit yours are they 93-96 prefacelift.

The 2nd ones you've listed I would say are 99% prefacelift ones, looking at the 'Seat' sticker just visible in the photo.

Also, the Gti Ibiza came with twin H1 headlamps, the ones you've listed are single H4's from the lower spec 1.4's etc

Myself and Andy were at TRAX 2002 trying to fit pre-facelift H1 gti headlights to my facelift 1.4, didn't happen, but they fitted an N reg pre-facelift Ibiza. They were from a facelift Cordy actually.

If I have the grill, you're welcome to come and collect it, see if it fits, even fit one of my headlights from my gti if you want to be sure etc, only take a few minutes to double check. As Andy says, there was a mish mash of parts SEAT used around 97 reg Ibiza's, hence 99% sure.

I'd more than happily swap you my twin H1's and grille from my Cordy, for your Quads..... but they're pre-facelift !

my Cordy's pre and your Ibiza's post, so unfortunatley they won't fit... gutted.

and thinking about it, I doubt the gf would be too happy with me modding her Ibiza as well as my Cordy!

if anyone was interested in swapping, obviously the quads are worth a bit more than the standards so to be fair id say, i do s straight swap if theyd pay for my postage of the quads (like 12quid or somin) unless they came to me. fair?
