Headlight Allignment for MOT

As the title..

I got HID's fitted a while back ago and recently put in "blue" sidelights.

Anyway while doing this i somehow managed to lose the metal clip to hold the headlights in


Now my DS light is not alligned and points higher !!

Im going to put standard bulbs back in for MOT but if you buy these, do you get new clips ?
Or even where can I source a clip like this from?

I've no pics but i hope you understand what Im on about !!

My MOT is coming up soon and obviously don't want to fail due to a silly thing like this.




Any help at all appreciated !!

try a scrapyard and liberate one from there or ring seat

I spoke to SEAT
They are saying you need to buy the complete casing !
Around £10 - £15 for a bloody clip ?? No chance..

get a bit of wire, then bend it to shape.

you dont get clips with bulbs.

you can use clips of vw's to so scrappy is deffonatly a good opition

Hey, i encountered a similar problem, the clips holding my lights in weren't the usual Seat ones, was just some random wire so was impossible to get them back on once off

I just went to a scrappy and took some off a mk2 beeza, they even let me take them for free

£10 from Seats ridiculous. I think a scrappy would be your best bet.

Ive tried using a bit of wire, but it just came off suddenly after driving a few miles !!
I went to a scrappy today, all french scrap just about lol

Going to head up to the one in the city during the week.
