Just had to have my headlight alignment sorted to pass the MOT but what makes it go out of alignment?? would it not be out if they say forgot to change the setting on the dash?

Im a mot tester and it does have to be on zero to get the correct alignment but not sure wot makes them to lose the correct setting though.
Well yeah they should do anyway! it just checks the height and the beam pattern and shows up if anyone has put a bulb in wrong which i have founds loads of times.
Oh il get them to give it a quick check next time. I always go to the same place so they kno me and can turn there eye if anythings wrong cos they kno il fix it anyway
yeah thats ok then. im sorted for my MOTS now as i can do them myself! still will do the work though if it needs any to keep in in shape and safe.
Well ive been told you can so im goin try to anyway. Get it half price aswell so thats a bonus! The joys of working as a mechanic!
