Headlight adjusters, are they both motorised?

Hi all,

This may seem like a daft question but are both of the headlight adjustable by the control on the dash i.e. are the both motorised? Only the driverside one on mine appears to move when is adjust the height.

Yes they are. They only move when the headlights are on.

It's most likely that the adjuster has got a bit gunged up. A liberal application of WD40, followed by cycling the adjusters up and down a few times, usually sorts it.

Well i have been fidling with the adjusters recently, headlights are set to low. They didn't appear to be gunged up. Think i might have to take it into the garage to get it looked at.

Well i haven't mentioned the 3rd secret choice which comes into play if i have to increase my commute next year which is a Jag S-Type diesel. The other two are only viable if i stay living where i am and the next job (or current job with better pay) is close by. Also the other option is something else entierly + a house at a distant location.
