Upon plugging in VCDS and running a little check, it found a small problem with the head lamp washers, saying that a relay was out (00924 Head Lamp Relay).

I've had a look but no joy in finding it. Can anyone point me in the right direction with this?

Thanks

Position 1 is for headlamp washer relay, designated 53 or 373
it located in drivers side above pedals ,think you can see it if you remove diag cover, also check fuse 38
hope this helps

i am pretty sure its not your relay , it will be a blown fuse.

Good diagram there. Helped. I used contact cleaner on the relay and replaced the fuse. still no joy. I think the relay maybe burned out. But thanks for the help fellas. Looks like im off to the stealers. Lol.

Vcds showed this fault on my cupra, it ain't the relay, it's most likely to be the pump. I swapped relays around and no joy. It's a 20 quid part but bumper off unfortunately. Mine failed last winter when the washer bottle froze.

Cheers for the info and pointer. I haven't went to the stealers just yet. I'll just get the 20 quid pump and whack it in, then if that doesn't work. The local SEAT Stealers can start charging telephone numbers. Lol.
