Im just about 2 send the car away 2 get Chipped/Re-Mapped and was wondering if any1 else has had their 100bhp 1.9TDi done already.

Just so i know wot kind of performance figures im looking at gaining. When i was on the fone it sounded like about 25-30bhp and not sure about the torque figure.

Im not wanting a world beater, lol, just something a little quicker.

Hopefully some1 can help.

I think DJRichard had his Mk4 TDI100 remapped, remember he got quite good figures, but can't remember who it was done by (and IIRC he had quite a few other mods too).
25-30 increase in bhp sounds like a reasonable estimate though.

You could just take it to Jabba, Revo, Forge, Custom Code, Upsolute etc etc and they'll do exactly the same searching for 'remap' and the above supplier's names will give you every bit of info you could ever want/need including pro's/con's, costs, warranty issues...........

the sort of increaces ive heard about are fairly normal accross the board of remappers for the PD100, usually looking at about 130bhp and torque up from 175 lbft to 235 lbft or so.

With some other mods you can get closer to 150 from the pd100 engine. With a decatted exhaust and a filter I had my old pd100 engine up to 154bhp with a custom remap.

The company i spoke to was Dastek Performance Tuning up in Fife.

They r best known in Scotland for all there tuning stuff. A lot of cars hav been in there.

They hav never done an Ibiza before so werent sure about wot they could do and gave me estimates.

Price was pretty good 2.

Just contacted my local REVO dealer. Found 1 about 20mins from my house that i never knew existed. lol.

Wil wait on them getting bk 2 me and c wot they say.

First mod on its way.

My original map at Jabba was 153bhp with a Cupra Intake pipe and Green Filter. Now had CC, but waiting for the RR to get sorted estimate 145bhp. Next stage in a couple of months is turbo,FMIC and injectors - should be good for 180bhp then.

Mate got his LCR done and another mate his gti golf at the same time and they **** themselves leaving

Wel guys, REVO is certainly the best thing in the world.
