On the drive to work, my car was running 100% spot on, on the journey home however was almost undriveable!

It refused to go above 0.2 bar, and when you tried (even under normal acceleration) it violently would try to stall, a loud pop from the exhaust. It seems to tick over fine, but when trying to accelerate in any gear, if you feather it VERY gently its almost ok (below 0.2 bar) but as soon as you depress the accelerator as said it just tries to stall:shrug:

So I was thinking - f*cked turbo? Blown hose? F*cked coilpack?

Help guys - I can't get it onto vagcom until next thursday :(

Also to note, no EML lights at all.

Many thanks
Anthony

Does it dound like a scooby? If so, its a coil pack thats gone..

If not there's prob a boost pipe poped off or split somewhere.

It was a hose that had partially popped off the charge pipe, sorted now - cheers :)
