Handbrake Light

Hello people I have just bought a 51 plate Ibiza Cupra..

I met up with someone who had a Y reg cupra and the black panel in the bottom centre on the dials had a lit up (P) when the hand brake was on where as my 51 plate car doesn't and just has a black panel and the top middle red light lites ups when the handbrake is on !! Is this correct !!

Also what is the standard boost pressure in psi for a standard cupra ??

5-6 psi for standard, and yess some cars do appear to have a (P) handbrake signal light, and others a (!).
We tried to work out the difference a short while back, but there seemed to be no proper pattern.

Had any over you people noticed that a standard Cupra is quite throaty ?? As before I had a Octavia VRS didn't notice it being throaty and my Cupra has the standard airfilter in the airbox !!
