Hi folks.

I've noticed in the last few weeks that my handbrake has started binding.
Seems to be worse when cold or handbrake has been on for a while i.e. overnight.
Reversing from stationary I can hear them rubbing, but moving forward I hear a small clunk.

The car was recently serviced and the bloke who did the work said that he had heard the noise as well.
But when he put the car on the ramp the wheels could be spun by hand no problem.

Any idea what the problem is and is it something the dealer needs to look at?
The car is 18 months old with 24,000 on the clock.

Thanks in advance.
Guy.

pads are sticking,

quick fix really. if u stayed close to me id have sorted it for ya. Mines is the same.

All seat will do is take pads out, clean up the calliper carriers and pads and stick um back in. They may try get you 2 buy new pads. But u may need them anyway after 24k
