H7 bulb lock in clip

Hi all i tryed fitting my HIDs today after work and finally drilled holes and got the bulbs in place and the next thing i hear something drop into my engine bay. The blimmin CLIP which holds the H7 bulb in place fell off and now im left with no drivers side head light(H7) and the HIDs are gathering dust. Where can i get these Clips from people do the dealers only have them? Anyone know any sites? Please help me.

from a new headlamp, a breakers or just a piece of wire wrapped around to hold in

was a while since i took mine apart but if its the clip i think it is, then no thats the wrong one

that's defo not the right thing.

the bit you need looks like a straightened out paper clip. perhaps you can find one big enough, and make your own?

Thanks guys, i called the seat dealers parts department today but they dont sell em, only available with the whole light. So anyways i was playing around with one of the hundreds of sets of house keys i use every day (estate agent) and realised the answer to my problem was right under my nose! The ring the house keys were attached to was thin enough to use and was perfect at bending to the correct shape so the HIDs went on today after work and they look great, i love them!

btw I thought I lost one of my clips somewhere, tried breakers, dealers and everywhere but could not find one, eventually realised it was still in there!

No HIDs mate the bulb is still H7 which fits in the same.

I have posted in that thread today oh and i ordered mine from Mydepot over a week ago and they arrived in only 6 days.

No HIDs mate the bulb is still H7 which fits in the same.

They're not proper HID's though! You need new ballast, etc.. to drive proper HID's.

Maybe they are HID look bulbs, I have some OSRAM aftermarket bulbs in mine from Powerbulbs

what are you talking about?!

the HIDs are the same fitment as original bulbs. he's just dropped the retaining clip
