Because i have had 3 sets of coilovers in the past and never been impressed the ride ends up bouncy and pretty nasty. Motorways were awfull with my last set, at least a full set is set up to be run at that height :)

Previous sets were Konis, FK konigsports and another set of FK

Personally I'd go for coilovers with adjustable damping & a common spring ID. With coilover springs being cheap (£35 to £45 a pair) not only can you adjust the rebound damping but also change the spring rate to you liking. It's all down to cost & how close to right for you you want to get.
