h&r cup kit...

Has anyone fitted this kit on a cupra ..??

Whats that stance like, quite fancy a small drop but not coilovers really as only want to go down 40mm top but want a spring and shock kit.

Why pay £600 for a shock and spring when you can buy weitecs for the same price and adjust to your liking??

Because i have had 3 sets of coilovers in the past and never been impressed the ride ends up bouncy and pretty nasty. Motorways were awfull with my last set, at least a full set is set up to be run at that height

Previous sets were Konis, FK konigsports and another set of FK

The weitecs meant to be far superior than th FK's for ride quality.

What about just a set of h&r springs on the standard cupra shocks ? Bad move as its pretty stiff standard suspension ?

Personally I'd go for coilovers with adjustable damping & a common spring ID. With coilover springs being cheap (£35 to £45 a pair) not only can you adjust the rebound damping but also change the spring rate to you liking. It's all down to cost & how close to right for you you want to get.

+1 Love my V1's, motorway driving is the best.. except for the inside lane.

Weitecs are made with KW's technology, but cheaper.

Mines got the cup kit, very hard but handling is decent considering the heavy lump under the bonnet.
