hi everyone, was driving home a couple of weeks ago in the wet and lost it around a corner and ended up writing the car off. whats more upsetting is that i could only just afford tpft insurance as im only 20 and so iv lost all the money for it. just thought i would let everyone know! lol o yeh and i would warn anyone if you cant afford fully comp insurance dont buy the car! lol wont be making that mistake again!

p.s the only part i managed to salvage from the car was my remapped ecu

its a good map very very smooth holds 15-16psi and

it would be along the lines of a jabba remap as it doesn't spike much.

and according to jabba anything over 15-16psi on a k03 turbo is only making heat and not power anyway.

will be in the for sale section but pm me if your interested.

cheers

not the best of news at all! i had just turned 19 when i bought my cupra (still 19) and i know that its not the cheapest to insure!

i was fully comp on my first car, 1.1 106 for 2 years - dont think i would ever insure a car tpft.... unless it really was a shitter!

no good news at all, total loss???

How much did you sell the car for?

would have been worth breaking - you'd have done 'ok' out of it

i bought the car back off insurance company and sold it on so i did well out of it until i had renew my insurance!!

i bet there would be at least 2k in breaking a ibiza cupra. you should of done that
