Gudgie's flash red LC - so far

Well I've had the car since November so I thought that I would post up the progress that I have made to date.
I bought the car completely standard and unmolested with 40k on the clock.

A few niggles just after buying the car such as a MAF dying on its hoop and some other silly little thgings like the crankshaft breather completely disintegrating. Lol

Since the car was completely standard a few things had to be changed straight away.
So the mods so far are:

Forge 007p
Forge TIP
Smoothed and drilled air box
Green panel filter
Cold air feed
New silicone hosing to replace the standard pish crankshaft breather

So the engine bay looks a little like this at the moment

Not the cleanest bay ever I know but its a start.

Mods that are still to come over the coming months and when funds allow:

Fabia rear wiper
N249 bypass
C3 aerial
Cupra R front splitter
Lowering springs on standard shockers (not going to be a track car)
Revo stage 1 remap
Uprated disks and pads (at the moment I am undecided on what to go for)
New tyres (prob goodyear F1's)
Possibly a switch to a turbosmart DV for a better wooshy

Well it was decent weather up in Scotland and the ball and chain was away watching Take That so me and my friend decided that we would treat our rides to a good wash and polish and then possibly some photos afterwards.

The Astra is my mates GSI. Not bad for a vauxhall

Anyway I think that the two of them came up not too bad after a bit of TLC
