I have some gti clocks on the way to replace my standard clocks. my clocks dont have a rev counter on it but the gti one does, can i get the rev counter to work when fitting in the gti one in?? should there be the connections there in the wiring loom ready to connect?

it'll move the counter, but may well cause other issues since they're not interchangeable

some 1.4's came with their own clocks with rev counters, they wernt silver though, mine was a 1.4 salsa and had em, that route may be worth looking down, tho dont expect it to make much difference as the 1.4 doesnt like revving past 6000 rpm.

i swapped mine.. only thing i had to do was to take the 'buld out of the indicator ' *light* in the cluster.. indicaters still work ( obviously) but every time i flicked left .. it would squeel like a bitch.. removed the tiny bulb in the rear of the binnacle ,.. problem solved..;)
