i've noticed the mk3 cupras have a trick up there sleeve when driving around 25 mph then sticking your foot to the floor they fly!? as im gonna be joining you lot in the near future, im just wondering what its like from stand still? also the cupra r has on/off traction controll, does the cupra have this as well, or is it always on? whats the grip like from a standing start? as im gonna look for a remapped one so got me thinking thats a lot of bhp through the front wheels, so how does it fair... cheers for any explanations.

Just like any front wheel drive car it will suffer the more you put through it. You can switch the traction on and off in the cupra yes. They do handle it pretty well through once your rolling, standing start though will more than likely light up the front tyres.

if the one i buy is on standard suspension i might lower the front 15mm lower than the back, to try and shove the front end down. i did this on my last cupra sport and it helped. so might be an option.
