Which parts are you changing? Just the sides oor the bottom ones aswell?

The side ones are easier than the bottom, I do beleive (from ed and me brother changing them) the bottom one, u rag the old one out!! Both broke there old ones whilst doing this!

As for the top, I do beleive there are "clips" 2 @ either side, a screw driver to clip these free and bobs ya uncle!

I think :D

did this on my old car,1.2s, and needed to take the front bumper off to get to the clips on the top grills as they were very tight on mine. bottom grill i did with bumper on but broke the old grill taking it off. i would take the bumper off and do it all at once if your doing bottom grill as well give you chance to do bit of cleaning as well.

The bottom bits are actually the easiest to remove. There's a screw on either side and it is then removed in 3 parts.

I'm afraid to remove the centre grille completely you do have to remove the bumper. Just a number of more screws around the bumper and it's off. ;)

There are about 5 or 6 screws in each wheel arch, then about 5 or 6 under the front of the bumper andfour on the top as you open the bonnet. I think that thats it iirc.
I was thinking the same as you when people say take the bumper off :wtf: but when i fitted my FMIC i was supprised how easy they came off.

Top/side grilles (ones next to S badge:

Get into the engine bay and unclup the top clips using a screwdriver and the pull outwards bloody hard pulling from the TOP HEADLIGHT SIDE of the grill - they just pop out :D
