Great car - but has a few problems

i drive a 2004 ibiza 1.2 (3 cylinder power! lol) it is a great car but unfortunately it has a few problems, wondered if anyone on here could maybe point me in the right sort of direction to fixing it?
heres a little idea of the problems;

1. has a suspension knock on the drivers side front, i have heard this is a very common fault and a lot of people have has this problem so just wondered what people may think could be the most likely fault. the problem didnt start till the spring broke and shot off the strut, taking the top bearing with it. since then to try and solve the problem i have changed the track rod, anti roll bar link, rear wishbone bush on the suspension arm and even balanced the wheel, i cant see or feel any play in anything yet the nose still persists, i can sometimes feel it on the pedals slightly when going over a large bump in the road, any ideas? im all out of ideas lol.

2. engine seems very noisy lately, seems to be from the gearbox side, like a clunking sort of noise where the driveshafts enter the box. has anyone heard of this problem before? is this common on them too?

3. most of the rest is just bodywork, few dints and scratches stuff like that. if anyone local to the scunthorpe area is good at bodywork and wants some work to do, please let me know :)

cheers people, just cant wait to get it working right agen lol :)

If you are doing the work yourself maybe replace the TCA rear bushes for Cupra ones, then check if the ARB end stops are still intact adn not letting the ARB walk across the car. Its quite annoying when your N/S/F road spring snaps and most of the top bearing's balls fall out!! This spring broke at exactly half height on my wife's Polo a few years ago - the spring still lies in the garage still tangled up double spring - but now only half height!

checked it over again and everything looks to be in tact, all wishbone bushes, arb bushed linkages and bolts are there and there is no play or movement in anything at all, very wierd.
