I ordered my new Ibiza Fr 1.8 petrol a week Saturday ago. The guy said it would take 7 working days for it to be delivered.

We are now 9 working days later and I phoned him tonight and its going to be 'Monday or Tuesday'.

Totally raging. If its not here by Monday im telling him to stick it.[:@]

I originally went in and ordered Black metallic paint, ESP, Luxury Pack, Suroof and Xenon headlights.

For me to get this spec car it would of had to come from the factory which would have been over 12 weeks.

There was 1 available with Black metallic paint, ESP and the luxury pack without a sunroof or the headlights so I jumped at it because Im not too fussed about the headlights and the sunroof.

Because I wasn't getting everything I wanted he did it all with a full tank for £12,250, which is not bad considering the ONR price of the car with the extras is over £13,000.

So here I am, waiting, dieing to drive it!

He said because of the bank holiday there was a delay in the deliveries. I would have been totally fine with it if he had said to me;

"Its a bank holiday, the car might not be up here till maybe next week"

but he didn't he said it would be Tuesday, then Wednesday, then Friday, and now next Monday or Tuesday.

Anyway, rant over lol

Dealers don't have a lot of control of deliveries from the port. They can obviously request them but the transport company will want to fill a loader first before delivering into local area. It is not worth their while dropping one car off in an area and then sending the loader 100's miles away for the next delivery.
