Got this annoying squeek.......

Hi,

I purchased an 02 plate Ibiza cupra off this site about a month ago and on the journey home noticed a squeek coming from the boot when i went over a few bumps but never thought anymore of it as it seemed to be only on the odd ocassion.

Recently i have been hearing it more and more and now it happens going over most bumps. I wasn't concerned about this initially but i am now. Has anyone had anything similar happen or know what this could be?

Any comments welcome as this squeek is beginning to P**S me rite off and as much as i want to ignore it i cant!

I did have it ages ago, think the damper was leakin or summat (so Autoworld said at it's 1st MOT). but then it stopped

Found my squeek! looked at some other threads regarding the sqeek issues and someone mentioned the rear seat bracket which locks the seats in place by the shelf in the boot - put a bit of insulation tape around the brackets on both sides, hey presto no more annoying squeek!!!

Now 100% satisfied with my car.
