I have just won a facelift bumper :funk: All i need is the lower mesh, any ideas how much they are? Also im not in a hurry to get it put on as i dont have the back one yet. I was thinking what it would look like if i keep the old back but have new front? What do you all think? Thanks all ;)

Hi,

I've just recently bough all this stuff too. My receipt for it's at work tho', i'll update this with the correct prices tommorow. From what I remember, left and right fog covers were about £12 each, lower centre grille was about £17.

I may just do the front, I think the back looks OK too. The facelifted rear is nowhere near as big an improvement as the front.

Did you win the black Cupra-R bumper that was on Ebay yesterday?...how much did u pay for it in the end?...was in very goog condition wasn't it?

Doing the exact same project as you and I bought the lower grill from an Official Seat Dealers and it cost me 7.39 each for the two sides and then 17.97 for the centre grill...although I think that is the price before VAT!!...at least you don't have to worry about the front panel/grill seeing it costs near 80 or 90 pounds lol!!

Well back to the topic at the minute my Leon is getting the Cupra-R bodykit fitted (a friend of mine is doing it for me) and as my MOT was nearing and he was going away on holidays he made sure to get my front bumper sorted for me and left the rear and sides...he's back tonight from holidays so it's getting finished this week but theres no harm at all putting the bumper on until you get the rear sorted too...been driving round in my own this past week and a half and its amazing the amount of heads that turns :L but the only problem is they see the rear when I go past :L

Mine is not colour coded at the back so I suppose it is noticable that it hasn't the full kit on but if your rear bumper is colour coded I think you will get on grand and not too many will notice!!

Yes, It was the one on ebay. The guy ended it for me and let me have it for £70 which i was happy with as you dont see many facelift bumpers on ebay. It should arrive sometime this week. I had a chat with the guy on the phone and he said its in good condition apart from a bit of a scuff but i will need it resprayed anyway so should be fine. Yes im all colour coded so like you said i think it may look ok? I do really want side skirts too but cant find them at a good price?

Jese how did you manage to get him to end it for £70??[B)]...seen them go for a hell of a lot more I think i seen one like yours go for near £180!! :funk: If theres just a small scuff then you are fine because when I was looking for mine my mate that is doing the work for me said he had to sand it all down anyway for spraying so all that needs done is to bput a bit of filler over the scuffed bit and then sand it all down smooth ready for spraying :p

Well if it is colour coded already believe me you will have no bother at all with the new bumper on so really it is up to yourself mate...seen a rear bumper on ebay there although think they are looking £180 minimum  The sides will be hard to find because its an area that people would need changing so you may keep an eye out at scrap yards to see if they have any damaged LCR's and you could get lucky...or if all else fails you can always get the fibreglass sides of ebay or if you know any1 locally that sells them because you'd hardly notice the difference at the sides!! :D
