whats the best way to put on the side skirts onto the car, ive realised that i haven't got the the screws running along the side of the sills.:wtf:

These are the bits that have 7 clips either side of the sills and are held with 2 screw heads in each clip. whats the best way to put these into or onto my 110tdi model as it doesnt have them:shrug:

1. How do i align these/ best method?
2. are the screw heads (dont know what else to call them) a part thats required of the dealers?
3.is this a hard job?
4. does every one who put the sideskirts on a non lcr ignore these clips and just glue them on?

Help and advise is needed, please.

Also i have a lc back bumper, to be fixed onto my 110tdi, will i need additional plastic brackets that are fixed onto the car where the bumper came off, or is it the same bracket that can be used that are fixed on my 110tdi model?

im sure there was a link that shows you how to put the lcr kit but i cant find it anymore im sure it was angel????? something it was a yellow leon that shoed a step by step guide.

Thanks for looking.

i doult you would be able to hold the skirt up mate without putting the female clips on to the sill.
thers 2 screws at either end of the sill that goes in to the wheel arch.
and 5 underneath to hold the sill tight.

So do you know whats the best way of inserting them into the sills is it drilling the female clips and then just screwing in the metal bits.

Cheers for that anyway...

Sorry to bring up an old thread, but i just wanted to make sure sticking the clips on a LC sill for the skirts is the right way to do this?? sounds a little bit of a weak fitting to hold a skirt on a car to me.....
