I have been looking around as I will be needing some new tyres and these are the ones everyone is recommending so thought I would share my findings on prices for the GOODYEAR 205/45R16 83W EAGLE F1 GSD 3

Cam Skills £357.80
Black Circles £366.68
My Tyres £363.60
Value Tyres £372.33
Tyretraders £326.77

Thats for 4 tyres including delivery and VAT

Anyone had any dealings with Trye Traders?

Anyone know anywhere cheaper for 4?

Cheers

This is not a compare tyre thread just a price thread for the F1's

I always used Event Mobile Tyres when I had my LC - they fit them at home/office wherever. Think they worked out just shy of £100 a corner.

GSDs won't last as well as some, but stick like chit in the dry.

Well after doing some extensive research on zee web

I think I may now opt for the Uniroyal Rainsport 2 tyres

Seem to have a good overall review

I have used tyretraders, mytyres and camskill before without any problems.
In my humble opinion I would get the Hankook EVO V12's for £61 each from tyretraders, a far better tyre than the old GSD3 and I have tried both.

Have a look here for a test with both the Uniroyal Rainsport 2 and the Hankooks in:

wow there is a big difference between 205/45/16 and 195/45/16, like over £100 for 4

Don't want them fitted and a lot of places like kwikfit don't supply without fitting

Think we need a poll on all possible tyres that could be fitted and have a mass vote and I am still undecided

why???????

if your going to fit them your self why dont you just buy what you can afford.

what are you after? and with tyres its more about your specific driving not what everyone else got.

Well just wanting some with decent grip in both wet and dry

But not wanting something that is going to wear down quick

I have never had uniroyal rainsport 2's so was wondering what people think but looking at some reviews they have some good feedback in all areas

I know my wheels are slightly smaller - 195/45/16 but I got mine last year from F1 Tyres in Bristol for 4x Tyres for £47.50 a tyre! Of course I bit their arm of and took it. Fully fitted with balancing blah blah was about £220.

Just got 2 new fronts - £165 for two fitted and balanced. Same place. Not quite as good.

check ebay mate they go for the £25 mark each (goodyears). you have to put it like this in the ebay search engine 195 45 16 tyres, no slashs (/)
