Hi all,
So here's my introductory post then, eh?
After a bunch of years in MX5s and hatched, in January I bought a surplus-to-requirements car from a freind of mine.
Years ago I owned a V-plate V5 Toledo, back then it was my 3rd car and it had so many bells and whistles. The only thing it really lacked was any kind of meaningful pace. Aside from 1 jaunt back froma weekend and the british GP where many miles per hour were used, it was just a big comfy barge with an engine note that wasn't as nice as the V6 in my MX3 beforehand.
Electric folding mirrors though.
About a year back I started looking around for something more economical, more practical, still fairly inexpensive but not entirely dull. I didn't have a huge budget to do this with either.
After looking at Boras, Fabias, GT Golfs and such I pretty much gave upl, but then this PD150 was looking for a new home
Uprated injectors
hybrid turbo
a butchered stock exhaust with no mufflers but plenty of rustegr gone
dual mass welded into a single with some big carbon-clutch.
AP coilover fronts and adjustable rear suspension
TT 225 brakes
V5 interior
LCR splitter
It is borderline hilarious when it starts spinning wheels in 3rd with no provocation, it's also been a learning experience.
So, I come on here to try and glean some knowledge from you all about the faults.
Tailgate - wont unlock from the remote fob, but the key works
Interior rear light - one of tem is entirely dead, but you can't swap side-to-side because they've seemingly got different connectors.
Drivers door - Will choose whether it will unlock from the fob or not, mostly it does but sometimes it can't be bothered.
Cruise control - The stalk is there, it's coded in on VAGcom, but the lead hasn't been added yet, need someone to do that, specialist garage or otherwise.
Pass-front tweeter - Needs changing over
Heater Matrix - In the winter it locked itself to FULL HOT ONLY! Switching to 'Low' on the Climate panel only resulted in "whats that? you want more air? no problem!" And a melted face. I think it was a pothole that fixed it, or when I punched the glovebox, but that's fixed itself.....temporarily at least
The other things that it needs, a windscreen, a new exhaust etc, I'm pretty sure I can fathom those.

So hi all, Goodj here with his PoleDo, she's an old girl, but she has her moments.
