the amp is only 500W and the speaker should be running 600W for decent output...i would say keep looking around as there are better amps and subs out there mate

best of spending about 120 on an amp and 30-40 on a sub.

Like this amp, http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/jbl-gto7001-p-6737.html?cadid=vjvockfn8albjosvodbsrrqub1

Then lets say on of these subs

http://caraudiosecurity.com/shop/product/products_id/4027.html

then because the amp is a good one with plenty of power, if you want more bass all you need to do is add another sub, wie them up as 2 ohms and your good to go! Plenty of bass for not that much more money, well its double the money but atleast in the long run it should be cheaper!

well i only got 800W but most people tend to go for 1200...depends how much you need really. if you gonna have more than one sub and your speakers hooked up then the 1200 should be enough, and 4 channel preferably

shouldn't crackle lol

i got my JL Audio 12w3v3 pumpin only 500W which is the recommended output from the manufacturer and sounds mint. don't forget that the box counts towards the quality of the sound so I would look into getting one custom-made if you buy a decent sub (if within your budget)

lol i know exactly how you feel mate...i did my placement last year and now doin final year and feeling da crunch...but for £100 you won't be getting very good quality, it'll literally be slightly more bass for the sake of it if you know what i mean

Your best bet matey is to go on talkaudio forums and ask exactly what you want and budget, there's always a lot of 2nd hand good quality kit for sale on there as well

yeah you can do that, 2 channels powering the front speakers and then bridge the last 2 channels to power the sub.

Or(option 2) get a 5 channel amp, 4 channels for front and rear speakers (if you want to do this) and the last channel for the sub. on 5channels, the last channel is usually 200/250wrms purely for a sub

P.S. This is if you want to upgrade your fronts at the same time
