Right, now Im in the mood for some input. My 98k Cordy is usually well behaved but the only real sticking annoyance is her ABS sensors reporting faults. Ive had 2 replaced last year to pass the MOT (dash light stuck on) Still though, the ABS kicks in randomly shudder under very low speeds (idling in traffic for example) the ABS light will come on for a while then eventually go off. Brakes are always fine regardless. Just random times. Im beggining to think this is a common problem with Seat of this vintage - mine being 1999/V cordy SX 2.0 16v.
Anyone else also annoyed?! Found a solution? Would jacking each side removing wheel and having a clean help?

good clean helps but check vagcom to see if any 'fault areas' are recorded

a GOOD fluid flush will help, mine had an amlgamation in the abs pump block that caused issues similar and worse over time

main culprit is usually the wiring itself - NSR one especially as the heat from the rear exhaust box kills em
