after pondering for a day or two i took the plunge and traded my leon fr against an 20 month old audi a3.

cost me 3k to change the dealer gave me 12k for the leon which is bloody good considering the new one has just come out.

the audi just drives and feels so much better.

spec i got is

a3 2.0 tdi sline dsg (with flappy paddles)

bose , symphoney, cruise, auto dimming mirrors , armrest, full leather , heated seats, 44k miles. fsh

3k sounds bloody cheap to me.

what you guys reckon ?

with all the options on it about 10k

who said seat`s lose money

i would of waited for the dsg version of the fr but im guessing my leon would of only lost more money time the new one came out, and i would be looking at 8 to 9k to change.

the old owner just paid for a service and dsg oil change and 4 new tyres. lol

once it`s gets some revo treatment who cares.

Fantastic car, i'd take a REVO'd one of these over the new Leon FR Diesel any day - the differance in reg wouldn't bother me in the slightest.

Sounds like a cracking deal to me!

What age and mileage is the A3?

it`s a 54 plate october 2004 45k miles full audi service history , most options bar navigation.

I bet the whole Audi Dealer experience will be much better than the one you had with the Seat dealer !! (until you see the bills at least!)

You will really enjoy the car if my S3 was anything to go by. Excellent build, looks the part and feels special. Enjoy it mate.

i do hope so , the experience i had with the leon was terrible , i still don`t know how they could feck most of the interior up fitting an armrest.

i doubt i would ever buy another one, i did um an arrgh a bit over the new leon , but was a bit scarred of lightning striking twice and all.

as for servicing i was hoping i could save some cash getting it done at the skoda dealer , same engine after all. unsure if this will hurt resale or not.

it's already lost 40% in under 2yrs, how bad could it get with a skoda stamp?
