Golf/Toledo V5. Do they suffer the same faults?

Hi all
I have a 2001 Golf V5 (20v 170) and am having a few electrical problems with it, namely warning lights.
A mate has run it on vag.com and it has come up with the following fault codes (amongst others! lol)

16717 - Knock Sensor 2 (G66): Signal too High
P0333 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
16485 - Mass Air Flow Sensor (G70): Implausible Signal
P0101 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent

As well as a running lean code.
Has anyone come across this on their V5 Toledos??
I have a feeling it may all be down to a knackered MAF as it has been getting progressively more sluggish, and with the traction and EPC lights on it has a misfire and hesitancy.
Just wondering if anyone else had an ideas?
The MAF is being replaced shortly anyway. Has anyone had issues with lambda sensors and or quality of fuel used?
Cheers
Baz

Cheers. Well new MAF should be with me this week so hopefully this will cure all my problems. If not, next port of call will be the lambda sensors.

Will be fitting the new MAF today. Aint it sods law tho, I arrive at work with the lights on and running like a bag of poo, the MAF arrives at lunch at work, I leave work and all the lights have gone out, and stayed out for 4 days now, and its running fine, if still a little sluggish. Oh well, hopefully it will be back to full strength today!

Spot on touch wood mate. Finally pulled my finger out and fitted it on Sat. No warning lights, no flat spots or misfires etc so I'm happy. Still not back to full power I dont think, didnt notice it at first but it seems to be starting to pull harder after a few miles now. Gonna get Si to clear the old codes again and do a log, and hopefully she will be back to full strength.
Next stop, smooth airbox, perf element and ducting (when it arrives)

Yeh see how it goes. Seems to be pulling better and harder the more I drive it which I'm chuffed about. Might get Si to do a log and then reset it see if it makes a difference?
