Golf MK2 syncro to MK3???

iam wondering if the floor plan of the golf mk2 syncro would on the ibiza Mk3. could anyone help me in this ??

yes iam thinking of doing that in order to make a 4wd car

so i can use the syncro rear diffs with an audi quattro transmission or i should go for the quattro of an audi for the whole thing?

yeah well right now i have a 340 hp engine and iam thinking to tune it up to 500+ hp. and that is why iam thinking of making a 4wd car. the problem is do u think the audi tt quattro wheel base is the same in the ibiza or u need to some modifications

if its to long just need to get a shorter shaft made wont be that hard to sort really if you have a good workshop

yeah i guess this the only thing that i need to modify the drive shaft and it wont be so hard to do it hopefully

Every time this comes up it makes me laugh. Making a fwd car 4wd is a big job on something like an Ibiza. Custom prop is about £1k from what I remember btw aswell and its not something you can knock up yourself.

a custon prob wouldnt cost anywhere near 1k i think my prop man could have one laved for less than 500 notes

Polo 4x4 being done at the moment and its costing £2k for custom drive and prop shafts, this is a professional build and thats only a tiny part of the cost. You could not 4x4 an Ibiza at home properly unless you were very experienced and had a workshop tools.

im pretty sure at work i could make a 4wd ibiza with the aid of a colleuge .aslong as your plans are all good i think it wont be that hard

no one said it was easy but i said its not that hard,it would take some months of work and alot of will power but its doable

Yes it sure is doable. Just like pretty much anything. However it is that hard, which is why it hasnt been done already. Want to prove us wrong then go and do it. Good luck
