hi guys need sum help. just bought armrest from ebay and got the bracket and bolts from vw dealer.brackets fitted just having a few problems with armrest trim. im clipping the armrest into place then bolting it to the bracket but the trim will not go on! the armrest sits about 3m to low so therefore trim hits centre console which makes the trim sit 3m higher! any ideas? is there any adjustment on the bracket or armrest!

Haven't fitted one myself, but have read a fair threads about them...I know you have to cut away some of the rear of the centre console to get them to fit...

Have you cut anything away, if not thats probably the issue...

Have a search around, and see if anyone got pic's of the install...

Sorry can't help anymore!

 - know the feeling...got woken up this morning by the postie, and thought it might be an idea to fit my Boost & Oil Temp gauges...

Thing is that I'm at work now till 7am, and haven't slept yet

Me thinks I'll be living dead by the morning ;)

Nope, but I can't imagine it being "too" difficult...just have to block off the air pipe, and make up a plate to fit in place that will hold the gauge.

Someone on here did make something similar for the centre vents...have a search around, as I think there were pic's as well ;)
