Glovebox/Dash Squeak: Found it but cant get to it!

I finally found the bloody squeak thats been doin my nut!

I thought it was behind the stereo but when in the car as a passenger i found out that its the glove box.

Opened up the glove box and pushed up on the inside and there it was: a chirping sound.

But do you think i could get the glovebox out? No!

How the hell do you get behind the glove box? It looks like you gotta take the whole dash out which i think is unlikely.

Can anyone shed any light on how to get behind the glovebox or even get it out?

Already go them out. Doesnt even losen it.

I just cant figure it out.

There is a bolt down the side where the airbag sticker is but that does nowt much either.

The whole thing seems to be in one piece.

I have the following squeaks if...

1. Stereo surround - fixed by pushing on the top right part of it where it slots in
2. Centre console, chirps like a bird - fixed by pushing on the right hand side of the cubby hole
3. Glovebox - fixed by pushing on the door

f u cant get the glovebox out then u could always try and get to it from the passenger footwell by removing the plastic at the top.

probably useless but its worth a try

u sure its your glove box, under the stereo in the gap where the rubber mat is, theres a metal bar whuich holds the centre console together at the top, push it or pull it at one side, this solved all my squeaks, sounded like a chirp too.

a real nightmare, ive got a couple rattles one behind the dash pod and one which is the radio surround just cant seem to get to them to fix. chuffin hard plastic dash.

Such a wierd sound I thought it was coming from the back of the car.. I've tried tightening the centre console.. argh!

My car chirps like a bird! lol really need to change the forge valve back to its normal way round!
