Gloss black, or Colour coded

Right my car came with the chrome mirror covers, so I prompty bought some replacements in primer and theyre now all prepped.

Thing is the black magic paint is a nightmare to find, not even SEAT will mix it up for me, so im thinking of going glossy black, cupra styleee.

What do you reckon?

Neither. Take the chrome caps and sand them with fine grit sand paper. Will look like polished alu.

i know what you mean about the black magic problem. i am trying to get my bumper painted and there are two black magics, that are very similar but slightly different. waiting for my painter to see the car in the day light

I'm SURE the two different black magics have different paint codes. Give your painter the code and he should be able to mix the exactly correct shade.

Does anyone think it will look good in gloss black, or will it give the appearance of a bad colour match?

I know it doesnt matter what everyone else thinks as its MY car blah blah blah, I justdont want to look like a twit

At least here. 70 something euros which is around 40 quid.

Anyway, with black covers on black magic might look a bit odd, but only if you take a closer look. Most people will not notice. It's usually YOU who it bothers more as you KNOW.
