GK Group and a 20K serivce on my FR TDI Leon
Hi Guys
Well the car was in for a service again at GK group SEAT on pride park Derby, yet again, great service. Even had the car washed..FANTASTIC..apart from the fact it wasnt really dirty (I spent 6 hours clay baring it and polishing at the weekend). I must add though last time it went in, it was minging, really dirty, I was hoping a free car wash. Anyway I got to the dealers to pick it up and was a little dense...the service book said oil service, no...and the bill said 5l of oil etc. little did i know the book was refering to the type of service. trouble is..i checked the oil and it was still black!! So off I go back in, mechanic come out,..yeah its changed..then on driving away realised why it was black...i'd got 2 miles on the clock more on the clock. (btw i have no problem with that). as soon as the car has flushed the new oil through, any remaining old oil deposits discolour the new stuff. It happens a lot quicker on diesels apparently
Gotta love the girl on reception Sam, she asked me if i wanted the screen was (bottle was full ) I saw the bottle on the desk and said yeah (small half liter bottle, nice size to stash to stop that buzzer )
Price £194.02
Parts used
Sump plug
Oil
Oil Filter
Pollen Filter
and screenwash
I gotta love the comment about my spare tyre "spare not checked a boot full" i Guess me ICE install is a bit much!!
