Ordered my new Ibiza (Manual Sport 1.6 CRTDi) on the 20th August, still waiting. I'm reallllllllllllly impatient, espically since it was hinted that it should be here around now.

Rawr. Although I guess there's plenty of people in the same boat reading the other threads!

I think thats happened with the all the 1.6 Tdi orders. I have had one customers order. Proberly ordered around the same time as yours 2 months ish and checked on the system the other day and its not even been accepted by the factory. We think there might be some problems more with getting old of the new engine as that was the problem when it was first launched. So dont worry everyone is waiting.

What?? Thats crazy! I'd want a very good explination if I were you. 5 months, for an ibiza?? That is very very poor. If you work for Seat can you not find out if there are some problems at the factory to cause these crazy delays.

This is very very poor show in the current climate, Most manufacturers are "Begging" for a sale:confused:
Seat have customers Eagerly awaiting to buy cars like the Ibiza diesel, cupra/fr and they are just dragging their heals:ban: Typical Spanish attitude

No not reallyas it a good thing really as VW group arn't in problems like others who are closing there factory and have got loads of cars in fields costing them money.

It would be the other way round if Seat couldn't shift car's and they went bust and you couldn't get parts

Corsa's

I bet you could get any colour any spec and have it on your drive tomorrow and get 5k knocked off and it be worth a £1 in a month

Hey now, my Corsa was still worth 5 grand after I rolled it down a hill... !

My Ibiza looks like it's still on track to be delivered in the next three weeks, but I didn't go nuts on extra's... just the 17" alloys, dark tinted windows and the iPod cradle.
